Ao Nang, the seaside resort par excellence, is not the ideal place when you are looking for a beach calm. The many longtail boats impose a constant hubbub.

And yet, a few kilometers away, the change of scenery is there. Klong Mueang, Tubkeak, Thalane, all three different but much more appreciable and fun! We could define them as family beaches where the calm and tranquility hovers.

What to see? What to do ?

Let's start with Tubkeak: etransparent and fine sand… Do I need to tell you more? An incredible view in a heavenly setting! The only downside: in high season, the customers of the many hotels all relax on the beach. Result: the beaches are crowded… Hence our strong preference for Klong Mueang and Thalane.

What if we were talking about Klong Mueang? Lively beaches lined with small hut bars and restaurants serving delicious food. You cannot miss the magnificent sunset that will be offered to you, feet in the water and a cocktail in hand.

Finally, Thalane: Thalane and its wild beaches, Thalane and its assured tranquility… Thalane and its magnificent view of Phrang Nga Bay! Just like Klong Mueang, the sunset is an incontournable. What if you are looking for the best restaurants in the area? Look no further, you have found it! The little extra? The discovery of mangroves thanks to a tour by kayak.

My opinion

The results are therefore without appeal, venture a few kilometers from Ao Nang, the moments spent there will only be more pleasant.
